Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Sail Darwin (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking or joining any of our cruises, private charters, or related services, you (“you,” “your,” “guest,” or “passenger”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Bookings & Payments

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

Full payment at time of booking is required for all cruises
- Pricing: is per person unless otherwise specified

A booking is confirmed once payment is received and a confirmation email is issued.
- Minimum Passenger Numbers: All trips except for a sole charter have a minimum passenger requirement of 10 guests. If your journey is rescheduled or cancelled due to this we will endeavour to accommodate you on an alternative trip. Should this not be suitable a 100% refund will apply.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- All confirmed bookings are refundable or transferable to another person or another sailing session. Absolutely, no changes or cancellations are available 48 hours prior to departure.

Weather & operator cancellations: All sailing is subject to suitable tides and weather and guest safety is paramount. The Captain has the final say if a trip is to be rescheduled or cancelled due to bad weather. Bookings can be transferred to another day and time or a 100% refund can apply.

We are not responsible for costs you incur due to cancellations (e.g., accommodation or travel expenses).
3. Check-In & Departure

Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure.

BOAT DEPARTS AT 5PM PROMPTLY ! We can not wait for people who are late.

No refunds for missing the boat! Please be on time!
4. Passenger Responsibilities

Follow all crew instructions while on board.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Guests must be able to board and disembark safely. Please advise us in advance of any mobility or medical issues.

Consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderation. The skipper reserves the right to refuse service or disembark any passenger for unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
5. Safety & Liability

Sailing carries inherent risks. By joining a cruise, you acknowledge and accept those risks.

We maintain appropriate marine and public-liability insurance, but you are responsible for your own travel and medical insurance.

We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.
6. Private Charters

A signed charter agreement will outline specific inclusions, timing, and payment terms for private hires.
7. Photography & Media

You are welcome to take photos and video for personal use.

We may take photographs or video on board for marketing purposes. Please let the crew know if you prefer not to be included.
8. Privacy

Personal information collected during bookings is used only to process reservations and communicate about your cruise. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law.
9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website and applies to all new bookings.
10. Accommodation
- Accommodation: is on a twin-share basis (ie 2 people to a cabin) unless otherwise specified.
